Daylight, a Portland, Oregon based digital product and experience agency, was eager to get a studio website redesign up and running that better aligned with their current offerings and approach. Their previous website was outdated visually and didn’t fulfill the studio’s refined goals in reaching their audience and telling their cohesive story.
Working directly with the Director of Strategy, we defined a number of components and component styles that were to be achieved in the redesign efforts and exchanged art direction ideas regarding the ui of the site. Upon completion of strategy and the design process, I handed off a suite of ui comps, a design system, and component library to their development team for build.
Moving away from their previous use of brand colors and fonts, we achieved a simple, breathable ui that allows the studio to focus on sharing their client work and work approach. Daylight’s site redesign provides them an accessible, user friendly structure of components that allows them to showcase their work, their people and capabilities.
Tasks include:
art direction • ui design • template design • component library build
